As for the store:
I was stunned at the price offered, so I bought one for me and the Mrs. Alpine was fantastic to deal with. I had several email correspondences with them and they were always fast to respond and incredibly courteous and actually real people rather than canned auto-replies. I support my local FFL when pricing is close... this time it was no contest. But with the kind of personal attention I got here, they will be my first internet stop from now on. They shipped very fast as well, and everything was perfect, waiting for me at the FFL to pick it up.
I will do more business here and strongly recommend them.
As for the firearm:
there really isn’t a reason to carry any other firearm as a primary cc. The manual safety is an awesome addition: pocket carry w/o holster is now a safe option... and if you don’t like to carry a gun with the safety just don’t engage it. It’s very small and unobtrusive and provides options that otherwise are not available without the safety. For as small as it is, the flicks cleanly and sharply on and off with the right amount of effort: easy to do intentionally and stiff enough that it won’t switch if bumped or brushed against. The sights are fantastic, and that front sight post may be the brightest thing I’ve ever seen lol. The ergonomics are better than many full-sized guns I’ve handled, especially with these 12 round magazines. The grip feels great in-hand and the texture is perfect: grippy but not murder on the hands. The trigger is really good: not a competition trigger: it’s a little spongy and has a medium length reset, but it’s a light pull and consistent (unlike say my XDS, which breaks whenever and wherever the heck it wants) so acclimation will be easy with practice. The size, capacity, and quality of the firearm together are the best available right now. The TacPac deal at this price makes it the best value on the market as well. And the firearm is rated for +P ammunition... again, no reason I can see that this firearm doesn’t make all other cc’s obsolete (excepting the Hellcat, which is nice, just not AS nice).
