At Alpine we put the priority on safety and that includes safety for our neighbors. We have overhead baffles on all of our rifle and handgun ranges that are designed to prevent projectiles from exiting the range. In the unexpected (and against the rules) occurrence in which a baffle is struck by rifle fire, a Full Metal Jacket centerfire rifle bullet may not deform sufficiently to prevent it from leaving the range space.

Alpine range is set up for the practice of target shooting and rapid fire frequently leads to projectiles not impacting the intended paper target. This can cause baffle strikes and damage to our safety equipment (the baffles and their supports) - this can also result in ricochets which can endanger customers and staff.

The public bathrooms for all range visitors can be found in the lounge area in the main shop building. Enter the main shop from the rifle & pistol ranges and turn left. The bathrooms are at the end of the lounge area.

Ear Protection and Eye protection can be purchased in the store and there are limited sets of earmuffs available for rent in the store. No equipment is available at the outdoor range office.

Spotting Scopes can be rented in the store. No equipment is available at the outdoor range office.
